Shea Michael Weber (born August 14, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who serves as captain of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is an NHL All-Star and a two-time Olympic gold medallist. Drafted in the second round, 49th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Weber had spent his entire NHL career with the Predators until being traded to Montreal.
