Per Forbes: In July, the NHL and the National Hockey League Players’ Association agreed to a six -year extension of their collective bargaining agreement. In these incredibly perilous times, this was great news for hockey fans since this meant labor peace until 2026. Well, not so fast. Despite having signed the CBA just five months ago, the NHL has requested further concessions from the players to weather the Covid-19 storm. John Andersson Klingberg (born 14 August 1992) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 131st overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Stars. He is the younger brother of Carl Klingberg. Playing career[edit] Klingberg started his career at an early age in Lerums BK; he was then signed as a youth to join the Frölunda HC program. Torey Krug (born April 12, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. Krug previously played for the Boston Bruins. Being undrafted, he played NCAA hockey at Michigan State University,[3] also playing for the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League (USHL),[4] winning the Clark Cup with the latter, the team’s first-ever title.
