    Corey Perry (born May 16, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He had previously played the first fourteen years of his career with the Anaheim Ducks, serving as an alternate captain during his final six seasons with the team. He has also played for the Dallas Stars. He captured a Memorial Cup with the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)’s London Knights and a gold medal with Canada at the World Junior Championships during his major junior career. Perry was drafted in the first round, 28th overall, by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and won the Stanley Cup with the club in 2007.     Per NHL.com: Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced on Monday that the team has agreed to terms with forward Corey Perry on a one-year, one-way contract. The deal has a value of $750,000. Perry, 35, played 57 games with the Dallas Stars in 2019-20 and registered 21 points (5-16-21) while serving a team-leading 70 penalty minutes. The right-handed forward added five goals and four helpers in 27 playoff games, helping the Stars reach the Stanley Cup Finals.
